staircases, glaziers as well as wood pattern-shops, turners and producers of music-
instruments. LAUBER timber dryers are ready for service immediately after delivery
and installation. No assembly is needed, "plug-in" and start drying! Timber of all
wood species can be dried fast, economically and in high-quality.
The computer control system MP 902 is a basis equipment for all LAUBER wood driers and guarantees
a convenient operation and a fully automatic regulation of the drying process.
The external lining of LAUBER wood dryer is made of 1.5 mm thick sheet aluminium
or of stucco trapezoidal sheet metal. The double shell insulation provides the best
insulation. All inside walls are made of special sea-water resistant aluminium.
Fully automatic heat treatment for pest control and observance of packing regulations
(for example export wood to China). All LAUBER wood dryers or kilns for heat treatment
can be offered in every special size in every material (e.g. stainless steel).
LAUBER longitudinal wood dryer
LAUBER longitudinal timber dryers are designed for smaller wood quantities. In longitudinal
ventilated dryers, a radial ventilator is installed at the front side. This fan
sucks the air through the wood pile. From all sides on its entire length, each
board is ventilated by the air flow. Even if the longitudinal dryer is not completely
filled, an optimal ventilation is guaranteed. In order to make the longitudinal air
circulation effective, special air-permeable staple ledges (aluminium) are used.
LAUBER longitudinal timber dryers are equipped with an electric heating. Optionally,
a hot water heating register can be installed for connecting the dryer to an existing
hot water or steam boiler. All longitudinal wood dryers have a constant thermal
insulated bottom in tightly welded stainless steel construction which is permanently
resistant to aggressive timber ingredients, such as tannic acid etc.
"Chest" are charged from the top, "chambers" are charged from the front-side,
"cupboards" are charged from the long-side.
LAUBER transversal ventilated wood dryer
LAUBER transversal ventilated wood dryers are used if several wood packages in height
should be dried. According to the size of the chamber, several fans are installed and
therefore chambers can be built in nearly every size. Normal stable ledges of wood are
used and pre-stacked pile packages can be directly loaded into the drying chamber.
The ventilation in LAUBER transversal ventilated dryer is arranged by fans with air
guidance mechanisms and aluminium frames, with hot water heating registers
(LAUBER ventilation tower). Optionally or additionally electric heating can be installed.
Optionally a constant thermal insulated bottom can supplied: with this thermal
insulated bottom, the timber dryer can be installed in closed areas without a constant
foundation (only strip foundation is needed).
